What an amendment touches
A draft amendment arrives.
It raises a supplier’s liability cap from $1M to $5M. Momor records it as a proposed change; the current cap still applies.
Two customer contracts depend on it.
They were linked to the supplier agreement when signed, and both pass supplier liability through to customers.
A third link is only a guess.
A services contract names the supplier but doesn’t reference the agreement. It is marked inferred, for legal to confirm or dismiss.
Legal is asked before signature.
With every affected contract in front of them.
After signature, the register updates.
The new cap takes effect, and the old one is kept with its dates.
Illustrative.
